Project
Description
Complimentary shade loving plantings were installed
under mature cryptomeria at the entrance to
this home. Preserving these beautiful specimen
trees was important to the homeowner. Working
with the landscape architect, we installed plant
material including rhododendron, plum yews,
and oakleaf hydrangea, while disturbing the
root system as little as possible. A colorful
perennial garden screens the septic and condensers,
blending these components into the landscape.
Preserving scenic vistas of the neighboring
cove from interior spaces was achieved with
simple plantings, including endless summer hydrangea
and Russian sage. Lawn areas throughout the
property were hydroseeded.
