Project
Description
The addition of an in ground
pool and surrounding paver patio blended into
the existing landscape seamlessly. Plantings
were chosen for texture and bloom in summer
months when the pool is in use. Combinations
of plantings include nikko blue hydrangea, goldmound
spirea, and walker’s low catmint as well
as echinacea, little princess spirea, shasta
daisy, and veronica. A perennial garden with
sequential blooming from spring through fall
borders the deck, appealing to all senses with
its changing colors, textures, and smells. The
front entrance pathway greets visitors by combining
deciduous and evergreen plant material in a
variety of colors. Plantings include cutleaf
japanese maple, oakleaf hydrangea, coreopsis,
barberry, rhododendron, and daylily.
